“Intercultural communication as a factor of success”
from 29. October to 5. November 2011

64 young people will meet for a one-week European Business Campus conducted in English at FEZ-Berlin (www.fez-berlin.de) from 29 October to 5 November 2011. The participants come from Denmark, Germany, Greece, France, Northern Ireland, Slovakia, Spain and from Sweden. The subject of the Campus will be “Intercultural communication as a factor of success”. Emphasis is placed on developing the intercultural competences of the youth and supporting them managing the way from school to business life.
With the instruction of the experts, the participants acquire especially practical skills and knowledge, for example how to construct dialogue with other cultures, how to prevent, solve or avoid the conflict situation at the meeting of different cultures, how to familiarize themselves with them, how to discover cultural identity and use them in the exchange of the cultures. The results of the project are the extended intercultural competencies among the young people, which effects a bigger potential for an active EU citizenry.
The Young European Business Campus at FEZ Berlin is supported by the European Union (youth programme 1.1).
